Oakville : Fireworks Festival to aid hospital, Sally Ann
Formally Bang-O-Rama, the Conklin Supershows will present a traditional array of family rides and attractions, a spectacular three-night fireworks show at 9:30 p.m. and entertainment including free craft tent and petting zoo.
Admission: adults/teens: $5; children (age 2-12), $2; under 2, free. (Admission includes free Pancake Breakfast before noon every day).
Between 10 a.m. and noon, a food drive is being held for the Salvation Army food bank. A donation of three current-dated food items will be one free admission to the park. A Salvation Army representative will be at the front gate each morning to receive the donation.
Georgetown Hospital Volunteer Association will be selling— in advance only— All-Day Ride vouchers for $17 (cost on the day is $26) between May 13 and May 21. (These vouchers are for rides only and do not include the price of admission.)
Vouchers are now available at the Georgetown Hospital Gift Shop, The Freckled Lion on Main St., and Pat’s Prime Cuts and Deli in the South Georgetown Centre.
Volunteers will be selling the All Day Ride vouchers in the Georgetown Market Place, starting today (May 13), 12-7 p.m. daily, until Friday, May 21. Volunteers will also be selling vouchers at Sobeys in Acton, 12-6 p.m. on May 17, 18, 19 and 20.
